    On June 6, the State Administration of Market Supervision issued the "Administrative Measures on the Examination of Advertisements for Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, Health Foods, and Special Medical Uses (Draft for Comment)" (hereinafter referred to as the draft for comments), which is March 13 this year. The State Administration of Markets and Regulations publicly solicited opinions for the second time.
 
 
 
 
       The draft for comment has five chapters and thirty-three articles, including general rules, advertising review standards, advertising review procedures, legal responsibilities, and supplementary regulations. For pharmaceuticals, medical devices, health foods, and special medical use formulas (hereinafter referred to as "three products and one weapon") The legislative basis, scope of application, competent authorities, content standards, review procedures, and legal responsibilities of advertising review are comprehensively regulated.
 
       Compared with the current review method, the draft for comment has simplified the content that should be clearly marked on the “three products and one weapon” advertisement and the certification materials required for advertisement review. Delete the contents of the manufacturer's name, product registration certificate or record number, etc., which need to be clearly indicated; the materials for drug, medical device and health food advertisement review have been reduced by 4, 2 and 6 respectively. In addition, the validity period of the advertisement approval document number is extended, and the validity period of the advertisement approval document number is determined by the applicant itself, but may not exceed the expiration date of the product registration certification document or the validity period of the record certificate. If the product registration certificate or the filing certificate does not stipulate the validity period, the advertising approval number shall not be valid for more than five years.
 
       The State Administration of Markets Supervision stated that the draft for comment focused on the “strictness” of the review criteria and the “wideness” of the review process. "Strict" is to do food and drug supervision work according to the "four most strict" requirements, and strictly stipulate the standards for the examination of advertising content; "wide" reflects the further streamlining of processes and optimization of services in accordance with the requirements of the reform of "distribution services". .
